Basmati ranks top for being the richest of all rice in amino acids and other essential nutrients, including iron, niacin, phosphorus, potassium, riboflavin and thiamine.
This long-grained rice is unsurprisingly the most expensive to purchase of all the rice varieties. Aging increases the value of basmati rice to the consumers as it brings excellent cooking results. |
